Renga, a genre of Japanese poetry in which two or more poets contributed alternating sections of a poem, is a fitting title for this exhibition which draws together the collaborative work of Japanese Fashion Designer, Masayo Yasuki with the paintings of Australian-born Artist, Georgina Hooper.
An Exhibition featuring Hooper’s delicate rice paper and watercolour paintings, of which have been transformed by Masayo Yasuki, into silk, linen and cotton textiles for Dogstar’s 2016 Spring Collection. Masayo Yasuki has also developed two unique fashion pieces especially for this event.
Expect vibrant, jewel-like colours of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, floating silk and linen fabrics and a night of champagne and elegant fashion.
Be sure to RSVP for the opening night.
